Kaoruko has been back to work now for about 3 months which means I am a stay at home dad. I think I am the only one in Tokyo. At least it seems that way. Kaoruko is also looking for a new job in her field (intellectual property law). We are also pretty set on finding a new apartment. Our income just isn't enough to justify this apartment. We shouldn't be paying more than 30% of our income for rent.
Kaoruko has been doing a bit of traveling to Nagoya just to see family. I stayed home this time. Looks like we are going there for new years and maybe Mie Prefecture to visit a few friends that used to live close by.

I have been helping a local artist I met in the Totan Gallery do an outdoor sound installation in a local park. The event was one month long and featured 13 artist groups. Kimura san, the friend I helped wanted to broadcast different sound perspectives of the interaction of the city with the parks and natural features of this area of the city like the river. Then a friend of ours mixed the sounds. The flow of the sounds mimicked an average life span. For example the sounds of a small waterfall were the sounds of birth, pure and refreshing. As the sounds progress industrial sounds appear which can be compared to life becoming more mechanical and complicated. There is much more to it.
