the world'sfastest Indian

Went to see it today. Not necessarily a must see at the theater but it was good. They actually had the Indian motorcycle from the movie in the theatre in Shinjuku, Tokyo. It is a really good movie. It stands on it's own, simple and filled with message. Anthony Hopkins is ... Anthony Hopkins and thats a good thing. I wish i had a dream like his character did and could live my life for that dream like he did. Its a film about regular people, simple dreams, and clear thinking. It made the city seem smaller.

Walden

I have recently started reading Walden by Thoreau. I am amazed at how similar my thinking is as i question the necessities of life and the impact of the Industrial Revolution. Written in 1845 i believe at the age of 30. I do find myself chuckling (last time you will see me use this word) at the logical but incorrect statements he sometimes makes due to the knowledge of the times but the thoughts are very relevant as some nations now enter their own Industrial Revolutions.

"actually, the laboring man has not leisure for a true integrity day by day; he cannot afford to sustain the manliest relations to men; his labor would be depricated in the market. He has no time to be anything but a machine."
